At Magic Costa Blanca we are committed to sustainable tourism, in line with a more protected and secure future in the long term, respecting the natural resources of our planet. This project, the result of our commitment to the environmentally friendly environment and to reducing our environmental footprint, was created with the aim of developing our sustainable hotel management model.
Under the philosophy of 'Making a magic place', for Magic, issues such as reducing the use of non-renewable resources and energy, recycling, incorporating eco-design criteria into our processes and raising awareness among the public and our employees are fundamental.
The Vice President of the group, Javier García, wanted to highlight the work we are doing at Magic, like other large national and international hotel chains, in environmental matters: "We have changed our approach in the sense that every day we worry less about being the best in the world and more and more about being better for the world".
Recently, at Magic Costa Blanca Hotels & Resorts we have achieved Bioscore certification, which validates our work in sustainability in all our accommodation and we have signed two agreements with companies such as Ecoembes to improve the management of packaging waste, batteries and accumulators generated in offices and accommodation. Under the philosophy of 'Making a magic place', we continue to increase our commitment to generate a positive impact on society. With measures such as the installation of osmosis-filtered water fountains and the use of reusable cups in hotels and resorts, more than eight million products such as straws and plastic bottles are no longer consumed annually in accommodation. These measures improve the health of the planet, preventing the generation of CO2 and millions of microplastics from reaching the oceans and ending up in the food chain.
At Magic Costa Blanca Hotels and Resorts we already have a wide range of sustainable actions in areas such as: Corporate Social Responsibility, emissions, catering, waste, energy and water; measures and advice that are constantly being renewed and that we will incorporate into future projects of the chain such as our new signage with environmental advice or the new APP that we have launched this summer. We are also working on other proposals such as incorporating chargers for electric vehicles or an energy transition process so that our accommodations can be self-sufficient. Our management model has to be efficient, sustainable and committed to the planet. You can find more information about our environmental commitment on this website.
