After the busiest times of the summer season, hoteliers on the Costa Blanca continue to innovate in order to prolong the summer and offer visitors original leisure alternatives. Chains such as Magic Costa Blanca Hotels and Resorts, a hotel group based in Benidorm, aim to offer tourists events and experiences throughout the year and, in recent years, their accommodation has been filled with activities on specific dates such as Halloween and Christmas, but also during other periods.
In this way, hotels and resorts such as Magic Robin Hood have this year hosted activities such as a weekend dedicated to the world of cosplay and gaming and a festival dedicated to the world of board games. These activities were created with the intention of offering leisure alternatives to residents and visitors and aspire to consolidate with the help of the 'Play Magic Costa Blanca' team, professionals who founded and form the first Holiday Stream accommodation in the world, located in El Albir, next to Benidorm.
The next event to be held at Magic Robin Hood Resort will be the 'Magic Beer Festival', an event that will take place from the 17th September to the 9th October. In this festival, beer will take centre stage, with different bars and brands of all kinds (Damm, Carlsberg, Heineken, Foster's, Guinness, Murphy's, Hop House...) to taste one of the most popular drinks in the world in a unique setting, the first medieval resort in Europe.
Entertainment and activities for the whole family
In addition to the beer, the festival will not be lacking in games and entertainment so that even the youngest members of the family can enjoy a day of fun. Among the confirmed activities, there will be live musical performances, food trucks with food, competitions with different prizes, a big 'crazy' bingo and even different foam parties.
It should be noted that the ''Magic Beer Festival is open to both Magic hotel guests (who will enjoy the event from the inside with benefits such as themed days at the Magic Robin Hood Resort buffets) and the general public. Overnight visitors to the resort will have free entry, while there are different ticket options for everyone else. Admission to the event is free for children, when accompanied by an adult.
As well as being able to buy a ticket for the Magic Beer Festival (open to the public from Sunday to Thursday from 5pm to 8pm in the 'Lady Marian' area), the resort also offers the possibility of spending a whole day with the family enjoying all its facilities (swimming pools, water slides, restaurants and even a video games area) through different day passes.
"Not just offering a place to spend the night".
For Javier García, vice-president of Magic Costa Blanca, it is "fundamental" to continue providing visitors with extra added value during their holidays, something that the group has been doing in recent times: "We cannot limit ourselves to just offering a hotel room in which to stay overnight. Staying at Magic has to be an experience for the whole family and that is why we always try to surprise the tourist at any time of the year. Whether it is summer, Christmas or other traditionally less demanded dates, we professionals in the sector, just like the tourists, must make an effort".
In this sense, García pointed out that Magic "has been offering new experiences such as video game festivals in recent times, always attending to the latest trends in leisure and the demands of our customers".
The Magic Beer Festival is, therefore, a new opportunity to enjoy with friends and family, with the attraction that the event is also open to people who are not staying at Magic Robin Hood; "a unique opportunity to discover the resort, both for our visitors and for people living in the area, through our different day passes".
Those interested in the event have all the information on the official Magic Costa Blanca website and can purchase their tickets - day passes to the resort (including access to the event) at this LINK.
