Villa España Hotel', a new and exclusive accommodation belonging to the Magic Costa Blanca Hotels & Resorts chain, will have a large rooftop area with three levels in which the 'Banús suspended pool' will stand out, the first suspended pool in Benidorm, an area in which to cool off with a unique sensation of weightlessness. The pool features a unique architecture with panoramic sea views, inspired by avant-garde places with similar constructions such as London or Shanghái
This innovative relaxation area will have a privileged location facing the Mediterranean, as the accommodation will be located on the front line of the Poniente beach, occupying the grounds of the former 'Hotel Magic Fenicia'.
The entire 4-star superior accommodation will become the first hotel conceived as an international showcase for the Spain brand, highlighting the latest trends in technology, entertainment, catering and design, values that will also be present in the upper area of the building.
This modern area will house differentiated zones such as Banús (an area for adults with a rooftop bar, infinity pool, hammocks, solarium, Balinese beds and day beds), an area with a bar, stage and solarium or the 'Es Vedrá' area with services such as 4 mini glass swimming pools, 2 outdoor Jacuzzis, hammocks, Balinese beds and solarium area.
Innovative rest and relaxation areas
Among these leisure areas of the rooftop area, the first suspended swimming pool in Benidorm stands out, which will culminate the main façade of the building, a place exclusively for adults with services such as Premium cocktail bar and a spectacular Sky Bar chill-out with views of the bay of Benidorm. The Food & Beverage service will play an important role in these areas, as the bars will have the best wines from all over Spain, the best craft beers, a wide selection of Premium drinks and cocktails and areas with artisan ice cream to refresh yourself while contemplating the Mediterranean.
The sixth floor will include a bar with premium drinks, flavoured shishas and original snacks such as jellies, osmotised fruit and hummus and vegetable boards. The seventh floor of the accommodation will have a restaurant with Mediterranean cuisine with international touches and seasonal products (typical Spanish portions and tapas, salads, pasta, meat and fish...) and two specialities: local rice dishes and cakes that the client will be able to personalise to their taste. Finally, the offer on the top floor will include a premium area for adults only with delicatessen such as foie macarons, oysters, Denia red prawns, Iberian cured meats and signature cakes.
The new accommodation is scheduled to open in 2023 and will house more than 300 rooms and suites themed with the name and representative objects of different localities of our country, in order to make our heritage, history and culture known to the thousands of national and international tourists who visit Benidorm every year.
Javier García, vice president of Magic Costa Blanca Hotels & Resorts has highlighted the group's commitment to continue providing Benidorm and its visitors with the latest advances in the sector to offer unique and innovative experiences, linked to art, culture and sustainability: "The rooftop area of Villa España Hotel aspires to be a benchmark for tourism in the Valencian Community with areas such as the first suspended swimming pool in Benidorm and premium restaurant areas facing the sea. Innovation in fields such as leisure, gastronomy and decoration must be constant in the sector, in order to surprise the visitor and provide added value to Benidorm. We will offer tourists and residents an enriching experience, promoting our heritage and that of hundreds of Spanish towns, always committed to avant-garde and sustainable elements in which to live holiday experiences to remember".
