Still immersed in the summer season, hoteliers on the Costa Blanca continue to work and innovate to extend the summer and offer visitors innovative holiday experiences throughout the year.
Magic Costa Blanca Hotels and Resorts, a hotel group based in Benidorm, is one of the pioneer chains in betting on its hotels and resorts to host this type of events, dedicated to themes such as the world of video games or board games, in addition to reinforcing the activities, decoration and entertainment on specific dates such as Halloween or Christmas.
The next event that the chain will host will be the 'Magic Oktober Fest', an activity that will take place from September 15 to October 4 at Magic Robin Hood, the first medieval resort in Europe. As a novelty, this year Magic Natura Resort, Magic Tropical Splash and the Magic Rock Gardens Hotel will also join in the celebration of this traditional event, which originated in Munich.
Thus, the four accommodations of the Magic Aqua Adventure line (the most family-friendly 'Magic' hotels and resorts) will be filled with activities such as live musical performances by international artists, food trucks and buffets with typical German food, contests with different prizes, bingo, karaoke or foam parties. Logically, beer will also play a major role in the event and the 4 accommodations will have different bars with national and international brands.
Visitors staying overnight at the hotels and resorts on the dates of the Oktoberfest will have free admission to the event, while the general public will have the option of purchasing day passes (with the exception of Magic Natura).
In addition to the decoration, activities and special gastronomy, the accommodations will offer visitors their usual services such as swimming pools, water slides, spas, restaurants and video game areas.
Pioneering initiative for tourists and residents
This is the first time that four 'Magic' accommodations host at the same time an event such as the 'Oktoberfest', a pioneering initiative as highlighted by Javier Garcia, vice president of Magic Costa Blanca: "We can not settle for offering a room or entertainment only in high season. Our visitors make a great effort to enjoy a well-deserved vacation and for us it is essential to continue providing added value and content to our accommodations. With events such as Oktoberfest, Halloween, Christmas and, in general, throughout the year, we try to offer unique and memorable experiences. Our hotels and resorts must continually innovate to meet the demands of our customers. For this reason, every year we are committed to new leisure events that more and more hotels are joining. We aspire to become a benchmark so that other accommodations in the area can continue to increase the value of our destination.
