The hotel accommodation in Benidorm and the Costa Blanca continue to work to deseasonalise the destination and offer activities and attractions to tourists beyond the summer. The hotel chain Magic Costa Blanca Hotels & Resorts is one of the groups that is betting the most on bringing life to its hotels and resorts throughout the year with the celebration of events, not only on special dates such as Halloween.
In recent months, the chain's different accommodations have hosted themed activities such as 'Oktober Fest' or entire weeks dedicated to themes such as video games or board games. This Christmas, Magic Robin Hood, a resort located next to Benidorm, once again aspires to become one of the Christmas destinations of reference with attractions for the whole family such as a large synthetic ice rink unique in the province, a Christmas market and even a large congress with the best magicians in the world. This year the resort will be open in two periods, from 5 to 10 December and from 22 December to 7 January, with activities such as special theming, gala dinners on dates such as Christmas and New Year's Eve, parades and even the presence of Father Christmas and the Three Wise Men.
All these activities, as well as the Magic Festival (which has already confirmed the presence of renowned international magicians such as Carlos Adriano, Lore Lavand, Josemari Alcázar, Ximo Ilusionista, Lionel Gallardo, Mag Malastruc, Mago Patxi, David Climent, David González, Almendros, Christian Miró, Mago Rafa and Mago Pando, media artists with appearances on programmes such as 'Got Talent' and 'El Antiguero') are open to the public, David González, Almendros, Christian Miró, Mago Rafa and Mago Pando, media artists with appearances in programmes such as 'Got Talent' or 'El Hormiguero') are open to the public not staying at the establishment, through the purchase of day passes.
Bringing Christmas to everyone and promoting job stability
With the aim of bringing Christmas to everyone, Magic Robin Hood's Christmas will once again have a charitable component. The resort will host four charity galas (on 9, 23 and 29 December and 4 January) in which one euro from each ticket sold will go to different NGOs. On this occasion, one of the confirmed associations will be the San Agustín Homeless Care Centre.
This year, the hotel chain will keep 4 hotels and resorts open for these dates with special activities such as Christmas decorations and gastronomy (Villa del Mar Hotel, Villa Venecia Hotel Boutique, Magic Cristal Park and Magic Robin Hood Resort), as well as the flat accommodation 'Magic Atrium Beach' and 'Magic Atrium Plaza'. "Consolidating Benidorm as a themed destination all year round" The vice-president of the chain, Javier García has highlighted the importance of continuing to support themed events as "a differentiating element that offers activities to tourists and residents, while helping to maintain jobs. Together, we contribute every year to making the Costa Blanca a destination with experiences and added value beyond the summer".
