From 13th to 15th May, Magic Robin Hood Resort will host the first edition of the 'Magic Cosplay & Gaming Weekend', an event organised by the hotel chain Magic Costa Blanca Hotels & Resorts and 'Play Magic' (a team of professionals in charge of broadcasting online and carrying out regular activities such as contests and tournaments related to new technologies from the first Holiday Stream resort in the world).

The event will bring together hundreds of people, including organisers, guests and participants, in what will be the first gamer and cosplay event hosted by a holiday resort in Spain.

The event will last three days (13,14 and 15 May 2022) and will feature activities such as: cosplay contest (with more than 50 cosplayers from sagas such as Star Wars, Marvel, DC, Anime, etc.), gaming tournaments of the most popular video games of the moment, exhibition by prestigious cosplayers, gaming area, photocalls, themed games from sagas such as 'Ghostbusters', specialised shops and stands, foodtrucks and entertainment during the three days.

Magic Cosplay & Gaming Weekend' will also feature the confirmed presence of more than 40 legendary Star Wars characters who will perform a spectacular parade through the resort, famous guest streamers and talks by some of the world's most famous collectors. During the three-day event, participants will be eligible for a host of prizes through tournaments, games and raffles.

Among the invited streamers, the presence of Keroro (Fornite Creative World Champion) or DualView & DFreezergirl (Ambassadors and top representatives of Rocket League in Spain) stand out. Female gamers and content creators will therefore have an important presence at this event. The speed and reliability of the connection at the event is assured as AVATEL will be the distributor of the fibre throughout the weekend.

  New holiday and leisure experiences

 The Play Magic platform, which even has its own eSports team, was launched last summer and has already been used by big names in the sector such as Mayichi, Reven, Grison, La botella de Kandor and TiparracoSA.
