Magic Hotels & Resorts is pleased to announce that, for yet another year, it has achieved the prestigious international Bioscore certification for all its establishments on the Costa Blanca and Gandía, further improving its rating compared to last year and reaffirming its commitment to responsible tourism. In total, 8 Magic accommodations (Tropical Splash, BC, Rock Gardens, Magic Natura, Villa del Mar, Robin Hood, Villa Luz and Villa Venecia) obtained the seal with an ‘A’ rating, while Magic Cristal Park and Villa Benidorm obtained level B (accommodations that have renovations planned to increase their commitment to sustainability).

Similarly, the group is working to extend this recognition in the short term to its new Magic World Resort accommodation in Oropesa and, in the future, it also hopes to achieve certification for the new Villa España and Magic Pirates Island Resort hotels.

For the assessment of the hotels, Bioscore has analysed, verified and audited the documentation provided by Magic Hotel Group in key areas such as Corporate Social Responsibility and treatment of staff, emissions, catering, waste, energy and water. All the issues formulated in the certification are aligned with international criteria such as the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) and GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Council).
