Hotel establishments on the Costa Blanca continue to innovate to try to attract visitors beyond the high season. That is why more and more accommodations are joining events such as the celebration of Halloween to offer added value after the summer.
This is the case of 'Magic Robin Hood', an establishment belonging to the Magic Costa Blanca group, which this year, for the first time, will have a 'Halloween Park' until the 11th of November, a pioneering space with innovative activities such as:
-Escape rooms: In addition to hosting cabins with themes such as 'The Exorcist' (in which you must save the soul of an old exorcist in 60 minutes) , the resort will have two innovative rooms with tests and puzzles that will be carried out in the dark ('Dark Escape Rooms') thanks to night vision goggles. This is the first time that a hotel accommodation has hosted this type of escape room.
-Horror Passages: This year the mythical 'Pit of Terror' returns, which has been held for years in Alfaz Castle and is very popular in the province. In addition, there will be two new experiences: One with vampires and werewolves ('La Caza') and another inspired by the circus for children ('Circus').
-Survival games: The resort will host great outdoor 'survival' activities with a zombie theme and large labyrinths ('El Establo Maldito'), a night-time gymkhana in which you have to avoid being touched ('Survival Zombie') and even a fun zombie hunt for children ('Survival Kids').
In addition to the 'Halloween Park', the main novelty of 2023, the accommodation located next to Benidorm will celebrate Halloween with themed activities such as: costume contests, entertainment, shows or special catering in buffets and restaurants. In addition, there will also be a new tarot space for fortune telling through cards.
In order to extend the high season, the resort's facilities and services, such as its swimming pools and slides, video games room, multi-adventure track, skate park and skating rink, will also remain open to the public during the festivities.
The activities are open to both tourists and the general public (you can book some of the activities independently or purchase different day passes).
Activities with the latest technology and dozens of professionals
Magic Robin Hood's new 'Halloween Park' will have the latest technology (smoke machines, powerful sound and lighting equipment, laser crossbows, night vision goggles...), a special atmosphere (masks, costumes of famous horror characters, uniforms, special make-up, artificial blood, torches...) and a full team of extras, entertainment staff and actors who, in activities such as the big parade that will cross the resort, will bring together more than 40 people.
"Innovate to keep surprising all year round".
For Javier García, Vice President of the group, events are a key opportunity to bring the accommodation and the destination to life: "More and more Magic hotels and resorts are joining in to host special events, enhancing the added values of the Costa Blanca and job stability.
We have recently successfully hosted Oktoberfest, now it's the turn of Halloween and we are also preparing activities for dates such as Christmas. This year, for the first time, a resort on the Costa Blanca is hosting a 'Halloween Park' with never-before-seen initiatives such as dark escape rooms.
Hosting this type of activity in a large resort is something pioneering which, we hope, can be applied in more hotels to make Benidorm a themed destination with experiences and attractions all year round, both for tourists and residents.
